Everything you've been through in life is part of the make-up for the new life you are heading for. Life is preparing you for marriage one way or the other.
Are you Emotionally ready?
Listen to what the Bible says about this in Proverbs 22:24 *Don't befriend angry people or associate with hot-tempered people*
One of the first things I try to correct before going into any relationship is father -daughter relationship (for the female folks- always watch out for Father-Son relationship). It tells a lot about your partner.
If she doesn't have a good relationship with a male figure in her life, she won't have a good relationship with you as time goes by.
Except you correct this, don't proceed to ask for her hand in marriage it's a danger sign.
You can help her through the healing stage. She has to forgive and show love or show tolerance.
Watch out for other danger signs.
